Are you passionate about contributing to the well-being of the Medicare population? Would you like to play an integral and strategic part in the overall success of a team? If so, the Broker Relationship Manager (BRM) is responsible for managing all available resources to help achieve sales growth, improve results and drive operational goals within the assigned market while also helping to coordinate on a national level. You will maintain and support all Partner Broker field sales within the market (Individual Agents, Agencies, and Partners). In this role, you will also develop local market engagement and sales strategy in coordination with the Market Director, local market offices, Broker Relationship Executives and Account Executives, including all sales support. Responsibilities

The BRM is responsible for hosting & coordinating (in cooperation with the local market team) all training opportunities for Broker Partners in the market, along with virtual/remote webinars etc. You will also work closely with Broker Relationship Executives and other BRM’s to support national and regional Partners to ensure there is a consistent Broker experience throughout all markets.

  • Ability to lead and train a team of sales associates, utilize technology tools and build relationships with communities and medical providers

  • High level of self-motivation and the ability to accomplish goals independently

  • Technology savvy laptop computers, cell phones and the ability to navigate mobile apps.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Health & Life Insurance license in the state of Kentucky or West Virginia

  • 3+ years’ sales experience or sales leadership/management experience in the Medicare, healthcare or similar industry

  • This position requires approximately 50%-65% travel with some overnight stays

  • This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits

  • Must reside in the local territory or be willing to relocate to Kentucky or West Virginia
